Unfortunately yes, I was the author of the original email to Livinguyana.blogspot.com, of course I've never gotten a reaction so acerbic.
People that actually know volunteers and the work we do don't speak like this, because they know the truth. This guy is very ignorant of our work. Oh well. No good deed goes unpunished.
